You've been captured - or maybe you've been held captive for a while now. Whatever the case, you've lost your freedom, and there's a specific person responsible for that. You might be a prisoner, a mental patient, a kidnap victim, or someone's pet. Maybe you're there willingly, or maybe the choice has been taken away from you completely.
Both smut and non-smut scenarios are possible. If you don't want to play smut, please indicate so in the title line of your tag.
1. Leave a tag with your character. Be sure to include any limits on what you are willing to play, as this meme has the potential to be triggering.
2. Someone else tags in and uses RNG to generate a number between 1 and 9. The second character is holding the first character captive now.

CATEGORIES
1. For their own good.
Does this person really think they could make it on their own? It's a big, scary world out there, and you need to protect them from it, whether they like it or not.
2. For the good of society.
Forget protecting this person - it's your duty to protect the world from them! Maybe they committed a terrible crime, or maybe they were falsely condemned, but it's your job to keep them locked up where they can't do any more harm.
3. Because they're not well.
How's your bedside manner? Whether you're Florence Nightingale or Mildred Ratched, you're in the position of ministering to the mentally ill. Maybe this person genuinely needs your help, or maybe you're just turning a blind eye to their true sanity.
4. For the money.
Higher aims? What higher aims? This person is your meal ticket, and they're staying put until their loved ones pay up.
5. For their love.
It might be a case of yandere, or it might be a consenting BDSM relationship. Whether it's by mutual agreement or by force, you're keeping them simply because you love them.
6. Because they're cute and fluffy.
Who's a cutesy wutesy? They are! Yes, they are!
This person is your pet now. Maybe they're a different species from you, or maybe you just don't care that you're both people. Maybe you're even an alien zookeeper looking after a new acquisition.
7. Because they're your property.
Slave? Livestock? Who cares what they think - they're your property, and you decide their fate.
8. For the lulz.
Hey, what's a little bondage between friends? You'll let them go, once you're done laughing and snapping photos...maybe.
9. Choose a scenario, or combine several.

Helen Magnus | Sanctuary
1 - please don't kill him XD
It wasn't hard to drug her tea; what was hard was getting her out of the Sanctuary without any of the others seeing them. But, he had done it and took her to a hotel room, where he currently had her tied to a chair.
Oh, she was going to be pissed, but Nikola knew he was doing the right thing. He wasn't about to lose her to her own stubbornness.
<3 <3 <3 Never!
Her body felt strange, and as she came back to consciousness, she realized she was tied up.
She was tied up!
Her eyes flew open, which caused her head to spin, but she tried to push the nausea to the side. Especially when she saw who was standing there.
"Nikola, what's the bloody hell is going on?" she demanded, tugging on her bindings.
this is like foreplay for them XD
"I drugged you, then brought you here," he said, answering her question.
There really was no reason to lie to her since she was intelligent and could figure it out for herself.
"Would you like some water?"
This really, really is! *laugh*
Of course, he did. She knew that. She'd had it happen a few times in her life, after all, but still she couldn't help put repeat it as a question because it seemed so utterly ludicrous. She knew Nikola was capable of many things, but she thought they were finally past that.
When he asked if she wanted some water, she wanted to say no, but the doctor in her knew that the drugging would dehydrate her. The water would help with the way she was feeling.
"Yes, please," she said, trying to calm herself. "I'd also like an explanation as to why you've done this."
He knew Helen was still recovering from the drugging and was pretty sure she was going to be pissed once she had her wits about her. But at the moment, he was going to get her some water. Going over to the bag he'd brought, he pulled out a bottle of water, along with a straw so she could easily drink it. He then took a deep breath and went to kneel in front of her.
"I heard you were going to take on that militant group by yourself and no one was going to stop you," he said as he unscrewed the cap and dropped the straw into the bottle. He then held the end of the straw to her lips. "I knew you wouldn't listen to reason so I kidnapped you so you wouldn't do it."
How could he do this to her?!
When he started to explain why he had done this, her eyes flew open and she glared down at him. "Someone has to deal with them, Nikola!" she told him before drinking some of the water through the offered straw. "No one else is doing a bloody thing about them, certainly not the U.N., and they're killing abnormals. And keeping me here is going to let them kill more!"
"I know that, Helen," Nikola said as he tried hard to keep his anger in check. "But you need to stop being a martyr and start letting your overpaid staff help you! And for your information, Declan and the task team is taking care of them right now. Which is something you should have considered instead of trying to do this on your own!"
Son of a bitch! She pissed him off sometimes.
"I'm not trying to me a martyr! I'm trying to help people! And I did consider a task team, but I decided against it because of how these people are! At least going in on my own, I could have kept casualties to a minimum!" she told him. "If they get wind of them coming..."
The thought of the group hurting the people on the task team caused her to pull at her bonds again.
"Let me go, Nikola!"
He started to pace around the room, glad he was able to rent the entire floor. If the others heard the yelling, they would call the authorities. And when she demanded to be untied again, he sighed and went over to her. Leaning down, he got in her face.
"No. It's obvious you have some sort of death wish, especially after losing Ashley, but you aren't dying today. Once Declan and the task force as things under control, I'll untie you," he said before pulling back.
He then turned her chair around and pointed it toward the television, and turned it on to music channel.
"Be quiet and listen to some music."
But he wasn't listening. He wasn't letting her go.
"Nikola!" she said again before he leaned into her face, accusing her of a death wish. She shook her head. "You wrong, Nikola! You have no idea! This isn't about any sort of death wish!"
Just then he turned her chair around, and she let out a frustrated cry. He didn't understand. She couldn't just sit there and listen to music. Why wouldn't he listen to her?
"This isn't about wanting to die, Nikola! It's about not wanting to lose anyone else I care about! I can't lose anyone else. I can't! And if that group gets to more abnormals...if they get to you..." She unclenched her hands and looked down. "I can't let them."
He wanted to break or punch something. He waned to shake her until she understood why he was keeping her there, but losing his temper wouldn't help. It would make things more upsetting for the both of them.
But when she started to talk again, he growled in frustration.
"Listen to yourself! You claim to want to protect us, but who's supposed to protect you? You wanted to take on an entire organization with numerous men so you could protect us. Its madness, Helen." He was seething and her words only pissed him off more. "No. Don't you dare say you were doing this for me. If you ever loved me, then you wouldn't have even thought about doing this."
"What else am I supposed to do, Nikola?" she yelled back. "If I lose anyone else, it's going to kill me anyway! I can't take it anymore! I can't take watching everyone I love die because of what I do!"
She felt her throat tighten as she shook her head. Her wrists were aching but so was her heart.
"They said that were going to come after us, Nikola, and take out everyone who worked with me." She started to tear up. "I know I should have told you, but I was so bloody scared."
He started to pace around the room, his hands firmly clasped behind his back. There was something else going on, this he was sure of. Helen was an intelligent woman, and she had to know none of their deaths were her fault.
"Then why didn't you tell us? You never had a problem telling us before. You've always been truthful when it comes to our lives. Why was this time different? You weren't this secretive when it came to the Cabal, and this group is nothing compared to them," he said as he stopped pacing and stared at her. "Maybe it's time you start being honest with me, and tell me what's really going on."
Apparently, my brain was working all night on this...
And when Nikola started questioning her, asking why she hadn't told them, she felt herself break. She had tried to keep it a secret to keep him safe, but she couldn't anymore.
"No, Nikola, the Cabal is nothing compared to these people!" she told him. "This group has been systematically tracking us down and assassinating us! They know who we are, what we've done and they're in our homes!"
She took a deep breath, looking down. "Did you ever stop to ask yourself, why after so many years, Nigel suddenly died of old age?" she asked. "We always believed his body had worn out. But that wasn't what happened. He was killed. By these people. They got to him and injected him with something that caused his body to whither." She then closed her eyes. "And James...his suit didn't fail. It was sabotaged. By them."
